Navratri, the vibrant and deeply spiritual nine day festival dedicated to honour the triumph of good over evil and the DIVINE FEMININE POWER through the worship of nine forms of Maa Durga. The festival of Navratri took on a special significance this year, as the youngest Shaktis of Sarvam hosted an unforgettable celebration filled with traditional and classical dances, colourful decoration, spirituality and an atmosphere of joy and unity.
Rhythms of Resilience
Dressed in vibrant and traditional attire, Our Youngest Shaktis of Vasant Kunj, lit up the stage with their energetic and enchanting Bharatnatyam, Kathak and the ritualistic Garba performances. They spun and swirled to the best of music, mesmerizing the audience with their synchronised movements and infectious energy.
The joy in their eyes as they danced symbolised not only the spirit of Navratri but also the growth and empowerment of Shaktis through the programs offered by Sarvam. The Shaktis supported by Sarvam took centre stage, turning the festival into a powerful expression of culture, strength and community. The event was a beautiful showcase of resilience and growth, as the Shaktis came together to celebrate the deeper meaning of festival.
Festive Beats, Empowering Feats
Along with the tribute to the tradition and culture, the event was also an exploration of the connection between mind, body and spirit. As a part of the event, our shaktis showcased a unique blend of Yoga and Navratri symbolising the balance between inner peace and festive energy that the season brings. The performance aimed to highlight the importance of mindfulness, strength and unity. The celebration wasn’t just about honouring the age old traditions of Navratri, it was about giving these young girls a platform to shine, express themselves and feel empowered in the process.
